3 Millennial Athletes That Dominate

Millennials have often been said to be lazy and underachieving. But if you are a follower of sports than you certainly understand that this is just not accurate for all millennials. Check out the top 3 millennial athletes that dominate in there respected sport.

  1. Stephen Curry (28) – Stephen has amazing highlights and is definitely one of the top 5 players in the NBA. Curry spent 3 years at Davidson University and in his final year at college he led the entire NCAA in scoring. He was selected seventh overall in the 2009 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. Curry set a record in 2016 with 402 three pointers in the season. Curry also has achieved the MVP award for the last two consecutive years (2015 and 2016). He also has led the Warriors to the last two NBA Championships (winning 2015 and losing 2016).
  2. Russell Wilson (27) – Russell Wilson is one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the NFL. He has a unique ability to throw a great pass to his receivers while also being able to run the ball and evade defensive lineman coming after him. Wilson spent three of his college years at NC State in which he then was drafted for the MLB. After not progressing in baseball Wilson went back to college to play quarterback but played his final season with Wisconsin leading them to the Senior Bowl. Wilson was selected in the third round (75th overall) by the Seattle Seahawks. He was widely criticized for his short stature (5’11”). But Wilson has proved all of his critics wrong by leading the seahawks to the Superbowl in 2013 and 2014. Wilson in 2015 also led the lead in quarterback passer ratings. Wilson continues to get better every year and has truly showed up as a superstar.
  3. Mike Trout (25) – Mike Trout was drafted 25th overall in the 2009 MLB draft by the Angels. Trout spent two years in the minor leagues and in 2011 made his MLB debut. In 2012 Trout was named the AL rookie of the year. He is also a 5 time All Star and in 2014 was the AL MVP. Every year that Trout has played he has been an All Star player. For being so early in his career at the ripe age of 25 he shows ridiculous ability to dominate in the MLB.
